Mayoral Proclamation
Wednesday, October 27, 2021
You are cordially invited to YOUR Art Museum's Mayoral Proclamation Event celebrating our 75 years as a City-owned and operated community cultural resource! This event includes a Missouri House of Representatives Resolution read by Representative Alex Riley, a 2021-2022 Exhibition Schedule Announcement, and Master Plan update.
In 1946, the Springfield Art Museum was deeded to the City of Springfield. Today, we are the only American Alliance of Museums accredited museum in all of southern Missouri! Join us on Wednesday, October 27th as the Museum celebrates 75 years as a key cultural asset to the residents, rural neighbors, and visitors to our City and southwest Missouri.
ASL interpretation will be available. For other accessibility need or for more information call (417) 837-5700.
Parking is available in the Museum parking lot, Phelps Grove Park parking lot, or on-street parking on the south side of Bennett Street.
Face masks and social distancing are requested.
